Political Parties Vows Support For Govt

ISLAMABAD: The conference on national security, which was held here under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, came to an end, reported ARY OneWorld on Tuesday.
All the political parties vowed their complete support for the government in any move against any Indian possible action.
The meeting held at the Prime Minister House, has been convened by the prime minister to create consensus on national security issues.
The meeting was attended by the representatives of all political parties of the country. It should be noted that the special emergency meeting was called by the Prime Minister to discuss the ongoing security situation following the escalation of tense situation in the aftermath of Mumbai shootings and bombings.
The meeting discussed the government’s stance on the current situation in the country in after the Mumbai attacks in India, and develop consensus on the course of action to calm the tension with the eastern neighbour.
After the crunch meeting ended, an declaration was issued.
The declaration of the national security conference said Pakistan condemns the ill-fated incidents of Mumbai shootings and bombings.
The declaration said that India should come up with solid evidence regarding Mumbai incidents, then Pakistan would act.
It said that all the parties are in agreement that national security, esteem and solidarity would be protected at all costs and all the political parties extend unconditional support to government in this connection.
