US can take advantage of India-Pakistan tension: Fazl-ur-Rehman

KARACHI: Leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman said on Monday that anti-state elements were present in every country while the U.S. could take advantage of tensions between India and Pakistan.

He stated this while giving his comments to Geo News on action taken against a banned outfit Jamatuddawa.

Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman said we want cordial relations with India, adding that the U.S. was interfering too much in the issues between the two countries.

He called upon the government to avoid taking such actions as a result of foreign pressure.
