Tele-Communication Between Ban Ki-Moon And Zardari oN Mumbai Attacks

NEW YORK: UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon Wednesday spoke to President Asif Ali Zardari over telephone and talked on the Mumbai attacks.
Ban telephoned Zardari to discuss with him issues related to the terrorist attack on Mumbai last week that killed 188 people, including several foreign nationals.
President Asif Ali Zardari told Ban Ki-moon that Pakistan is itself a victim of terrorism and the Pakistan government and the people are against the terrorism.
He said that Pakistan would fully cooperate with India in the investigation of the Mumbai attacks.
Ban is also said to have discussed with Zardari the Pakistani request of a UN commission to investigate the death of his wife, former Pakistani prime minister Benazir Bhutto.
The UN Secretary-General said that the work on the nature, procedure and collecting the required funds for the commission to be set up for investigating the murder of Benazir Bhutto is in progress.
