Kuwait Donates $9m For Quake-Hit People

ISLAMABAD: The State of Kuwait has donated a large consignment of relief aid worth $ 9 million for the earthquake affectees of Balochistan on the instructions of Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al‑Ahmad Al‑Jaber Al‑Sabah.

The consignments comprising of food stuff, tents, blankets and heating equipments were handed over by Kuwait Red Crescent Society to Pakistan said a statement issued here on Tuesday.

The State of Kuwait had also contributed with generosity for the quake victims of October 2005.
