Deposed Chief Justice leaves New York For Home

NEW YORK: Deposed chief justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry after completing his tour of the United States departed from the JF Kennedy Airport of New York for returning to Pakistan.

On reaching the airport in New York Wednesday night, he was warmly received by the representatives of the lawyers community.

Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry was given an award from Pakistani journalists in the United States.

The deposed chief justice was accompanied by former president Pakistan Supreme Court Bar Association Chaudhry Aitezaz Ahsan, spokesman of the deposed chief justice Athar Minallah and president Sialkot Bar Association Arshad Bago.
