SRINAGAR: Former Chief Minister of occupied Kashmir and the top National Conference leader Dr. Farooq Abdullah has categorically declared that Pakistan could not be involved in Mumbai incidents in which over 200 people were killed and nearly 400 were injured.
"How can Pakistan be involved in Mumbai terrorist attacks when their foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi himself was on three-day visit to India to discuss terrorism and other issues," Farooq stated while addressing reporters in occupied Jammu. He said that ironically Pakistan itself is in the trap of terrorism. "How it could be involved in these grip circumstances being faced by Pakistan herself", he added. "Pakistan is also suffering from the menace of militancy and both India and Pakistan should unite to counter terrorism", Dr. Abdullah said. Commenting on India's blame game against Pakistan, Dr. Farooq Abdullah said "this is not the time to blame one or the other but to strictly curb the menace of terrorism across the world," Farooq maintained.
