QUETTA: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan on Saturday said Pashtuns should not be victimized on the ground of alleged Talibanization in the country.
Addressing Balochistan Bar here at the district court, PTI Chairman urged the government to fulfill the promise of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto for establishing independent judiciary.
He was of the view that the policies of the former President Pervez Musharraf were still in practice. He supported the lawyers' struggle and asserted that judiciary prior to Nov 3 be resorted.
Imran opposed the "issuance of a big quantity of arms licenses" to a particular group in Karachi and said this could lead to entrench violence.
The PTI chief asked the politicians and high officials to transfer their assets to Pakistan if they are sincere to save the country from bankruptcy. He also stressed taxing of the rich class and said that the poor masses are alone bearing the burden of "the IMF hard pressing currently terms and conditions.
