PM Gilani Phones Sardar Atiq

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani telephoned Azad Kashmir’s Prime Minister Sardar Atiq on Sunday and discussed with him the situation in the wake of the Mumbai terror attacks.

Prime Minister Gilani and Sardar Atiq exchanged views on various issues including so-called elections in Indian-held Kashmir, political situation in Azad Kashmir and Mumbai attacks.

He assured Azad Kashmir government of his complete support and expressed concerns over house arrest of Hurriyat leaders during sham elections in the occupied valley.

Sardar Atiq on this occasion assured Premier Gilani of his support on behalf of people of Kashmir.
