Ebad Condemns Violence in City

KARACHI: Sindh Governor, Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad on Sunday condemned the incidents of violence in the city and expressed deep sorrow over losses of lives and properties sustained by the people. In a statement issued here, the Sindh Governor has appealed to the people to remain calm and keep a close eye on miscreants. He has also directed the law enforcement agencies to strictly deal with the miscreants and ensure protection of lives and properties of the people. Ebad has also welcomed the contacts among all political parties, particularly among Pakistan Peoples Party, Muttahida Qaumi Movement, Awami National Party and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam. He said that all coalition parties in Sindh government are working in the province with harmony and making integrated efforts to maintain peace in city. He urged the coalition parties to develop further effective coordination among them.
