CM Sindh Directs LEA’s To Be Vigilant

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah taking serious notice of yesterday's violence incidents in city, has directed the law enforcement agencies to keep vigil on anti-social elements.

In a statement on Sunday, Qaim Ali Shah instructed the LEAs to make all-out efforts for the protection of life and property of people, adding steps should be taken to arrest miscreants. No negligence in this regard would be tolerated, he warned.

Chief Minister said that law and order situation had improved in the city after formation of new government but some anti-peace elements, for their vested interests, wanted to disturb the peace of the province particularly Karachi.

Expressing deep grief and sorrow with the families of victims and affectees, he appealed to the masses to stay calm and peaceful.
