Cholera Kills 484 in Zimbabwe: WHO

GENEVA: A cholera epidemic in Zimbabwe has killed 484 people since it broke out in August, according to World Health Organization figures released on Tuesday.
"The total number of suspected cases reached 11,735, with 484 dead on December 1," Fadela Chaib, a WHO spokeswoman, said. The WHO office in Harare said earlier that the toll was 473 dead on November 30. The UN health agency said the "large" cholera outbreak was now "affecting most regions of the country."
