ISLAMABAD: Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Ms Farzana Raja has urged country's politicians to forge unity among themselves and strengthen hands of PPP in a bid to obviate various threats confronting the country.

Talking to a local news channel, she said, national reconciliation is need of the hour and PPP wants to resolve the issues confronting the country by taking all and sundry on board.

Responding to a question regarding persistent drone attacks on Pak territory, she said parliament has constituted a consensus national security committee and tasked it to recommend suggestions to deal with threats to its security.

Country would not compromise on security and integrity of Pakistan. The executive will implement recommendations of national security committee.

Pakistan has decided to raise the issue of American incursions at all forums. She hoped that the committee would put forth valuable recommendation to deal with the menace of foreign incursions at Pakistan's territory.

The situation in FATA does not emerge overnight, time is needed to overcome problems, she said responding to a question.
