Nawaz, Miliband Hold Meeting in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: British Foreign Secretary David Miliband and PML (N) Chief Mian Nawaz Sharif held an important meeting at the Punjab House on Wednesday.

Sources said that Nawaz Sharif discussed with Miliband his party’s viewpoint on issues relating to war on terror and Pak-UK relations.

Earlier in the day, British Foreign Secretary held separate meetings with his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani.

Miliband is also scheduled to hold talks with President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani.
