Britain Must Play Role To Stop Air Strikes: Zardari

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari Wednesday said that US drone strikes in Pakistan is violation of the international laws and urged Britain to play its role in stopping the air attacks in Pakistan. Pakistan President was talking to British Foreign Minister, David Miliband who called on him at President House today. Zardari said that Pakistan is facing economic problems being an ally in the war on terror. The US air raids have caused anger and restlessness in the people of Pakistan, he said. Britain can play important role at the forum of the Friend of Pakistan to help in guiding the country out of economic difficulties. British foreign minister said that in principle he backs Pakistan’s stand.
