ISLAMABAD: Pakistan, the United States, Britain and the European Union strongly condemning the Mumbai attacks have expressed deep sorrow and grief.

Pakistan prime minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has strongly condemned the violence in Mumbai and expressed deep concern over the loss of precious lives.

The prime minister said that he had sympathy with the families of the killed and injured people.

The US and the UK have said that all steps were being taken for the safety of their citizens present in Mumbai.
