Senator Urges To Provide Facilities To Prison Staff

QUETTA: Senator Talha Mahmood said that the administration and the staff of prisons should be provided the same facilities which are being given to police force so that the corruption can be ended.

Addressing in connection with his visit of Quetta district prison and the prison reforms, the chairman of the senate standing committee for interior said that the prisoners who could not be released for not paying fine should be freed by paying their fine from bait-ul-mal.

Senator Talha Mahmood said that there is a capacity of 472 prisoners in the Quetta district prison but there are 750 prisoners present there due to which is causing various problems.
