KESC Fails To End load-Shedding

This news updete by geo.tv

KARACHI: Despite drop in electricity demand, Karachi Electric Supply Corporation (KESC) has failed to overcome power cuts in the metropolis.

The utility seemed to have failed in supplying 1400 megawatts of electricity despite the fact that around 700 MW of electricity is being provided by Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA).

Meanwhile, Bin Qasim Power Plant‘s unit number 3 and 4 are still out of order for several days. On the other hand, KESC is hesitant to buy Furnace oil, causing disruptions in power supply.
