FIA raids Forex Company Outlet in Karachi

KARACHI (Azhar Ali Khan): The Federal Investigation Agency’s personnel raided Sunday evening another office of a money exchange company being investigated under the charge of its alleged involvement in the biggest forex transfer scam of the country.

According to a FIA team raided at the office of foreign exchange company, Khanani and Kalia International (Pvt.) Ltd., situated at I. I. Chundrigar Road and took the records, laptops and other stuff in possession. However, no arrest was made in the raid.

It is pertinent to mention that the directors of the company, Munaf Kalia and Javed Kahani, are already in police custody and have confessed their involvement in illegal transfer of dollar from the country.
