Sherpao Calls For StepsTo End U.S. Led Strikes

PESHAWAR:
Former interior minister and Chief of Pakistan People’s Party (Sherpao), Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao Sunday linked the resolution of current issues facing the country with the stable economy.

Briefing the media after presiding over a meeting of PPP (Sherpao) Central Executive Committee here, he said five resolutions were passed in the meeting. These are: condemnation of Nato strikes in tribal areas, full implementation of resolutions unanimously passed by the Parliament, conerns on price hike and unemployment, operation in tribal areas and rehabilitation of Balochistan earthquake affectees.

Aftab Sherpao said the government is only paying a lip service as Nato strikes are becoming a norm in the tribal areas.

He demanded of the government to ensure implementation of the 14 point resolution passed by the Parliament.
