President Zardari to Attend interfaith Conference in U.S.

ISLAMAABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari will participate in an interfaith conference at UN Headquarters in New York on Nov. 12.

President Zardari has been invited by United Nations (UN) to attend the conference aimed at promoting interfaith dialogue.

According to sources, President Zardari will also hold meetings with King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, US President George W. Bush and other leaders during the conference.

The UN interfaith conference, the first of its kind, is being held at the initiative of King Abdullah and on the recommendations of the conference that was held in Madrid in July.
