President left for Saudi Arabia

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari left for Saudi Arabia Tuesday on a two-day official visit for holding wide ranging talks with Saudi leadership and to discuss ways to seek more investment from the Saudi entrepreneurs in energy, infrastructure development, agriculture and industrial sectors.

The President to arrive in Jeddah and hold meetings with Saudi King and exchange views on bilateral, regional and international issues during his stay.

A spokesman of the Foreign Office said the two leaders would also exchange views on challenges confronted by the Ummah, the inter-faith initiative taken by King Abdullah and his country's efforts to curb terrorism and extremism.

The President will also perform Umrah and Ziarat of Roza-e-Rasool.

He will visit Madina and offer prayers at Masjid-e-Nabvi. He will pray for the solidarity of Pakistan and progress and prosperity of its people.
