Parliament to Be Made Eficient: Babar Awan

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr Babar Awan Tuesday said the government is committed to making the Parliament supreme and efficient with smooth working to fulfill democratic obligations and promote image of the country.

In his first interaction with officials of the ministry after assuming charge as federal minister, he said being one of the key ministries in the cabinet, it is our obligation to respond to the voice of the people who are crying for relief.

Secretary Parliamentary Affairs Sheikh Ghazanfar Hussain welcomed the new minister, briefed him about the functioning of the ministry and gave him breakup of the staff.
