Mercury in Quake Zone likely To Drop to Minus nine

ISLAMABAD: Balochistan's quake-stricken areas are likely to witness the temperature going down up to -9 degree Celsius, which will further add up to the hardships of the victims.
Meteorological Department Director General, Qamruz Zaman said that showers and snowfalls were expected between November 12-14 in mountainous regions of the country. Talking to media he said that a westerly weather system will approach the upcountry in next three days to bring rain and snowfall. The new system might not hit the quake-stricken areas but the mercury would drop by -4 to -9 degree Celsius. The quake victims need shelters for protection from the frosty weather.
