JUI chief calls on Prime Minister

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Tuesday said the country was facing numerous internal and external challenges and it was need of the hour to work collectively, steering the country out of these crises in a befitting manner.

The Prime Minister was talking to JUI chief Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman, who met him here at the PM House today and discussed matters of national importance.

Prime Minister Gilani lauded the role played by the coalition partners for exhibiting complete unanimity of views on various national, regional and global issues.

He said that the government was specially focusing on the well being of the common man and taking concrete steps in this regard.

Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman commended the sagacious leadership of Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani for taking along the coalition partners on every issue of national importance.

He reiterated his party's full support to the government for strengthening the democratic institutions and prosperity of the people.
