IMF loan Conditions Not Harsh, Says Tareen

MARDAN: Prime Minister’s Adviser on Finance Shaukat Tareen has said that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) not offering bailout to Pakistan on very harsh conditions. Talking to media men here Sunday the Advisor said that the IMF has not put up specific conditions and demands for the loan. Replying a question Tareen said that he don’t know how much foreign exchange was sent to abroad illegally in the forex scandal, adding that action will also be taken against politicians if they would be involved in the forex scam. The major challenge the government is facing now is to control the price hike, he further said. Shaukat Tareen said that Pakistan have talked to China, UAE and Saudi Arabia for the help.
