General Tariq leaves For Germany

RAWALPINDI: Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Tariq Majid leaves for Germany here Sunday on an official visit.

CJCSC is visiting Germany on the invitation of General Wolfgang Schneiderhan, Chief of General Staff of Federal Armed Forces of Germany, says a press release issued here.

During his weeklong visit to the country, apart from visiting various Civil and Military institutions, he is also scheduled to meet Dr. Franz Josef Jung, Minister of Defence, Federal Republic of Germany and German military leadership.

At the airport he was seen off by Lieutenant General Raza Mohammad Khan, Director General Joint Staff and other senior military officials.
