Gen Kayani Meets Prime Minister of Turkey

ISTANBUL: Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani who is on an official visit to Turkey on Thursday met Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Prime Minister of Turkey.

During the meeting full spectrum of bilateral relations were discussed with special reference to peace and security in the region.

General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani also visited Martyr Memorial at Galipoli and laid a floral wreath.

Later, COAS visited local area command where he was given operational briefing.
