Four Rockets landed near Peshawar Airport

PESHAWAR: Four rockets fired by unknown miscreants landed near Peshawar airport resulting in damage to runway and a nearby house in cantonment area, ARY OneWorld reported in the wee hours of Thursday.

Two of the rockets fired from unknown direction, landed in airport premises and one landed in fields.

No casualties were reported as yet.

The rockets also damaged high transmission line causing power supply disconnection to Peshawar, Darra Adamkhail and Kohat was disconnected.

However, PESCO has taken measures to restore the power on war footing.

This is the third attack in last four days in which Peshawar airport and cantonment was targeted by unknown miscreants.
