ABU DHABI: President Asif Zardari and UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan in a meeting Monday vowed to strengthen bilateral ties in trade and other sectors. In a one on one meeting the two leaders discussed bilateral relations and two boost ties in various sectors. Earlier, President Zardari received by UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahayan on his arrival here on two-day visit of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), in an official ceremony at Al-Mushraf Palace here. The two leaders also discussed peace and security in the region and other global issues. President Asif Zardari appreciated the cooperation of UAE in the Friends of Pakistan group. UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahayan hoped more strong bilateral ties during the tenure of President Zardari. In delegation level talks the two sides agreed for investment in energy, agriculture, infrastructure and other fields. Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Finance Adviser Shaukat Tareen and Interior Adviser Rehman Malik are accompanying the President in the visit.
